Who it's for: Owners, Admins and Members. Editing is free. The next export after an edit uses 1 credit.
Edit a profile
Open the candidate, then the profile. Click Edit at the top right.
Change what you need in Edit candidate info on the right. The preview on the left shows how the resume will look. To check against the original, use the toggle next to Preview style to show the original resume.
Click Update profile. To export right away, click Update & Export PDF or Update & Export DOCX instead.
You see "Profile has been updated". Cancel closes the editor without saving your changes.
The form starts with Profile name, which is the name of this profile, not the candidate. Change it to rename the profile. Below it, Candidate details has the first name, last name, job title, phone number and email shown on the resume.
Replace the resume
On the profile, click More > Replace candidate’s CV/Resume.
In the replace dialog (it shows the candidate's name), click Select file and pick the new resume. If the candidate is linked to Bullhorn, you can also pick a file from Bullhorn.
The Add new Candidate's CV/Resume dialog asks what to do with the profile details. Choose one:
You see "CV replaced successfully". The new file shows under Original CV / Resume. To stop without replacing anything, close the dialog with the X.
Credits: An export after you change a profile's content uses 1 credit, even if you exported it before. Overwrite all fields and Update only empty fields usually change details. Do not update doesn't. Changing only branding, template, file name or recruiter contact on the export screen doesn't count as a change.
Good to know
The replace dialog says "Only PDF and DOC files with a maximum size of 25MB are allowed".
You can't replace a resume while your company is at its resume parsing limit. See Out of credits, or "You've reached your CV parsing limit".
There's no separate "parse again" button. Replacing the resume is how you read a resume again.
To keep the old version, duplicate the profile first (More > Duplicate profile). See Add, duplicate or delete a profile.
Using Bullhorn? Edits aren't written back to the Bullhorn record. See Save a resume to Bullhorn.
Troubleshooting
You see "Something went wrong with parsing your file. Please try again." Try again. If it still fails, see My resume didn't parse correctly.
