Get started with the Job Board

What the Job Board is and the setup steps in order

Get started

Create a job board, fill in its basics, and manage its languages, default board and archiving.

Create and set up a job board

Set the sender name, sender address and reply-to for the emails candidates get from your board, and send them from your own domain.

Set up candidate emails for a job board

Move your job board from jobs.candidate.ly to your own address, like careers.youragency.com.

Use your own web address for a job board

Change your board's logo, colors, fonts, banner and layout next to a live preview, then save.

Brand your job board with the theme editor

Import your website's header and footer so your job board looks like part of your site.

Use your website's header and footer on your job board

Add a Jobs link to your website that opens your job board, a search or a single job.

Link to your job board from your website

Create your board, brand it and put it on your own web address

Set up your board

Add your own fields to a job, like a shift pattern, next to the standard fields your team fills in.

Add custom job fields

Pick which fields your team fills in on a job and which ones candidates see on the job page, per board.

Choose which fields a job shows

Choose the questions candidates answer when they apply, and pick which form each board or job uses.

Build an application form

Set the stages applicants move through, their order and color, and the wording candidates see in their portal.

Set up applicant statuses

Choose the fields each job has, what candidates fill in and your applicant statuses

Job fields, forms and statuses

Check your Bullhorn connection, then choose how jobs come in from Bullhorn and how applicants go back.

Connect Bullhorn to your Job Board

Choose which Bullhorn job order field fills each job field, and turn Bullhorn values into your own options.

Map Bullhorn job fields to your jobs

Decide which Bullhorn candidate or submission field each application answer fills when an applicant goes to Bullhorn.

Map application answers to Bullhorn fields

Add a Job Board tab to your Bullhorn job orders, so recruiters can post a job to your board from the job order.

Add the Job Board tab to Bullhorn

Turn a Bullhorn job order into a job on your board, from Candidately or from the Job Board tab in Bullhorn.

Import a job from Bullhorn

Push an applicant to Bullhorn as a candidate with a submission on the job order, by hand or automatically.

Send an applicant to Bullhorn

What Candidately writes as the source in Bullhorn for job board applicants, and how to map utm_source tags to your own sources.

How the candidate and submission source is set in Bullhorn

Bring jobs in from Bullhorn and send applicants back

Bullhorn integration

Add a job by hand, save it as a draft and publish it to your board. A job needs a title, description and employment type.

Create and publish a job

Take a job off your board for a while or for good. Pausing, closing and archiving keep applicants and history.

Pause, close, archive or delete a job

Your live jobs go to Google for Jobs on their own. Set search titles and descriptions, indexing and tracking scripts per board.

Get your job board found on Google

Publish an XML feed of your live jobs so job distribution tools can advertise them, and check which jobs it includes.

Share your jobs on job sites with an XML feed

Publish, pause, close and share your jobs

Post and manage jobs

This prototype demo is aware that you are reading “{title}”. It can point you back to the current article, but a production article-aware Fin contract is still follow-up work.

Prototype article-aware answer

Because you already asked about invitations, this prototype demo can add the follow-up: use the role selector before sending each invite to limit access to the teammate responsibilities.

Prototype role-limiting follow-up

This prototype demo suggests starting with your workspace profile, inviting the team members who need access, and then connecting the integrations you use.

Prototype getting-started answer

In this prototype demo, integrations are configured from workspace settings. Choose the integration, connect the account, and review the enabled permissions.

Prototype integrations answer

In this prototype demo, invite teammates from workspace settings, then choose the access each teammate needs before sending the invitation.

Prototype invite-team answer

This prototype demo does not have a scripted answer for that question yet. Try asking how to invite your team or open a source article. No production Fin API was called.
