Out of credits, or "You've reached your CV parsing limit"

"You've used all your credits" means your company has no credits left for new exports. Click Talk to sales in the message to ask for more. "You've reached your CV parsing limit" is a different limit, on uploading resumes. It doesn't use credits.

"You've used all your credits"

What you see

A message "You've used all your credits": "All your Resume Builder credits have been used. Please reach out to us to add more credits and continue exporting resumes." with Cancel and Talk to sales.

It shows when you try to download, share or send to Bullhorn a profile that needs a credit.

Why it happens

Your company's credits are used up. A profile needs a credit the first time it's exported, and again after someone edits it. Credits are shared, so a colleague's exports count too.

Fix

  1. Click Talk to sales. The chat opens with a message already filled in.

  2. Tell us how many credits you need. If you need them now to send a candidate, say so.

We add the credits and you can export again. See Get more credits.

While you wait

  • You can still upload, create and edit profiles.

  • Profiles you've exported before and haven't edited since download and share for free.

Why am I out of credits at the start of the month?

Plan credits are added when your plan renews, not on the 1st of the month. If your plan renewed and you still have none, ask us in the chat. Owners and Admins can check the balance on Subscriptions. See See how many credits you have left.

"You've reached your CV parsing limit"

What you see

"You've reached your CV parsing limit. You cannot add new CVs at this time". If you upload several files at once, you may see "You can only add [number] more CV(s) at this time" instead.

It can show when you upload a resume, replace a resume or duplicate a profile.

Why it happens

Your company can parse a set number of resumes in any 30 days. The limit is higher for companies with more users. It's separate from credits: uploading never uses a credit.

Fix

  1. Wait. The limit counts the last 30 days, so room frees up as older uploads pass 30 days.

  2. If you need to add more now, ask us in the chat. We can look at the limit for your company.

Still stuck?

Send us a message in the chat with the message you see, the candidate's name and what you were doing (download, share, send to Bullhorn or upload).
