Who can do this: Owners and Admins set up brandings in Settings > Branding. Anyone who can open a list can pick a branding for it.
A branding puts your logo, colors and brand name on your lists and client portal, so clients see your agency and not Candidately.
What a branding holds
Go to Settings > Branding and pick a branding at the top. The default one has a Default tag.
Branding name: for you only, so you can find it in lists.
Brand Logo Avatar: at least 260 x 260 pixels, up to 5 MB.
Company/Brand display name: the name clients see instead of your company name.
Domain: the web address your lists and client portal open on, for example my.candidate.ly or your own address. See Use your own web address for the client portal.
Company Website
Welcome message: the greeting at the top of the client portal, up to 80 characters.
Cover images: desktop at least 1500 x 260 pixels, mobile at least 750 x 192 pixels, up to 5 MB each.
Favicon: the small icon in the browser tab. 32 to 72 pixels, up to 100 kB, as a file or an image URL.
Default list header style: whether the list header shows the list owner or your company. You can change it per list.
List colors: buttons, outlines and text, so the list matches your brand.
Candidate profile layout and Candidate profile colors: how candidate profiles and exported resumes look.
Set up a branding
Open the user menu (your name, bottom left) and click Settings.
Under General, click Branding.
Pick the branding you want to change, or click Create new branding, enter a Branding name and click Create branding. A new branding starts empty.
Fill in the fields above. Each image opens a Crop dialog and saves right away.
Click Save changes at the bottom of the page. Cancel drops your changes.
"Branding successfully saved." appears.
Use more than one branding
Several brands or offices under one account? Create one branding for each.
Duplicate branding copies the branding you're on.
One branding is the default. It shows Already set to default. To change it, open another branding and click Set as default branding.
Delete branding removes a branding. You can't delete the default.
Teams can have their own default branding. New lists start with the default branding of your primary team, or the company default if your team has none.
Choose the branding for a job submission list
When you create the list, pick it under Branding. The field is required and starts with your default.
To change it later:
Open the list and click List configuration > List appearance.
Under Branding, choose a theme. Default marks your company's main one.
On the same tab you can change the look of this list only: List header style (User focused (list owner), Company focused or Company only (no list owner)), Company/Brand display name, Domain, and logo and cover images for desktop and mobile.
Choose the branding for the client portal
Go to Settings > List settings > Client portal and pick the Theme for each portal. See Add a client login to your website.
What clients see
Clients see your logo, cover image, colors, brand name and favicon on the list and in the client portal. The welcome message shows at the top of the client portal. The share email uses your brand name, for example "New candidates from [your brand]".
Good to know
Image uploads save on their own. Everything else needs Save changes.
A change to a branding shows on every list that uses it.
Members can't open Settings > Branding. They can still pick a branding on lists they can edit.
