Export a resume without your branding

To export an unbranded resume, for example for a VMS submission, create a branding without a logo, header or footer. Then pick it under Select branding when you export. There's no built-in "no branding" option, so you set this up once.

Who it's for: Owners and Admins set up the branding. After that, anyone in your company can pick it when they export.

Set up the unbranded branding

  1. Open the user menu (your name, bottom left) and click Settings > Branding.

  2. Click Create new branding.

  3. Enter a Branding name your team will recognize, for example "No branding". Click Create branding.

Create new branding dialog with Branding name
  4. The new branding opens. It starts empty: no Brand Logo Avatar, no Resume header, no Resume footer and no Company/Brand display name. Leave these empty.

  5. Change colors or layout if you want, then click Save changes. If you change nothing, the branding is already saved.

Don't click Set as default branding unless you want every export to be unbranded.

Export with it

  1. Open the candidate's profile, click Export, then Download PDF or Download DOC.

  2. Under Select branding, pick your unbranded branding. The list shows your company's brandings.

  3. Check the preview. It has no header image, logo or footer, and uses the default colors.

  4. Check Set file name for export. It still starts with your company name. Change it if it must not name your agency. Do this after you pick the branding: changing the branding resets the file name. See Change the file name of an exported resume.

  5. Click Download PDF (or Download DOCX for Word).

Result

The resume downloads without your logo, header or footer.

Good to know

  • With no Company/Brand display name, the file name starts with your company name. Edit it on the export screen before you download.

  • Leave Display company logo on Only show logo when image is uploaded. With Yes, display logo and no logo uploaded, the resume shows a square with the first letter of your company name.

  • Don't add a candidate representative if the resume must not name your agency.

  • You can also pick the branding in Share candidate for a share link.

  • Picking another branding doesn't use a credit.

Common questions

  • How do I create a resume without our company logo? Create a branding without a logo, header or footer and pick it when you export.

  • Is there a "No branding" option on the export screen? Not by default. Select branding only lists the brandings your company created. Create an empty one once, as above.

  • Can we keep our branded version too? Yes. Your company can have several brandings. Pick one per export.
