Who can do this: The Owner of your Candidately account copies the link, a Bullhorn admin adds the card · Product: Candidate Search AI · Where: Settings → Integrations → Bullhorn in Candidately, and View Layout in Bullhorn
Before you start: This needs the Bullhorn integration with Candidate Search AI on your plan.
The Top Matches card sits on the overview of every job in Bullhorn. When a recruiter opens a job, they see the best-matching candidates from your database right away, without running a search.
What does the Top Matches card show?
The card lists the top 10 matching candidates for the job:
Relevance: the match score, from 0 to 100. Green is a strong match, yellow a weaker one.
Candidate: the candidate's name and current title.
ID: the candidate's Bullhorn ID.
On the card you can:
Click View Details to open the candidate's record in Bullhorn in a new tab.
Click Apply Search to open the full search in Candidately in a new tab, with the filters already built from the job. From there you can refine the search, see more results and add candidates to the job.
Click the refresh icon at the top right of the card to reload the matches.

How do I add the Top Matches card to Bullhorn?
In Candidately, go to Settings → Integrations → Bullhorn.
Under Candidate Search settings, find Top matches tab on jobs and click copy next to the URL.
In Bullhorn, open Menu → Admin → View Layout.
Under Entity, pick your job entity. It's usually called Job, but your Bullhorn may use your own name for jobs, for example Vacancies or Searches.
Open the Custom Cards tab and click Add at the bottom of the list.
Fill in the new card:
Name: the title on the card, for example Top Matches.
Enabled: ticked.
Location: In a record, on the overview.
URL: paste the URL you copied in step 2.
User types: pick the Bullhorn user types who should see the card.
Click Save at the bottom right.
Open any job in Bullhorn. The Top Matches card shows on the Overview tab.
How do I edit or remove the card?
A Bullhorn admin changes the card in View Layout → your job entity → Custom Cards. Click Save after any change.
Rename it: change the Name.
Make it taller: add
#bh-iframe-height=900pxto the end of the URL. Change 900 to the height you want.Move it: use the up and down arrows on the left of the card to change its position.
Change who sees it: add or remove User types.
Hide it for now: untick Enabled.
Remove it: click the X at the top right of the card.
Recruiters can also close the card on a job with the X on the card itself, or drag it to another spot on the overview.
How are the matches picked?
Top Matches uses the same search and relevance score as Candidate Search AI. It reads the job's description and builds the search from it, the same way as when you start your search in Bullhorn. Your admin picks which description is used under Job description used for AI Search in Candidate search settings.
To understand the score, see How to read AI Search results.
What if the card is blank?
The card needs a few seconds to load. If it stays blank, click the refresh icon on the card or on the job record. Still blank: check that the URL in the card starts with https://app.candidate.ly, then see Troubleshooting: search is slow, stuck, or the Bullhorn tab is blank.
Pro tip: Put the Top Matches card at the top of the job overview. Recruiters see strong candidates the moment they open a new job, before they start sourcing.
