Who can do this: an Owner copies the tab address in Candidately (only Owners see Settings > Integrations). A Bullhorn admin adds the tab in Bullhorn. Each recruiter then switches it on for their own view.
Add a Candidately tab to your Bullhorn jobs, so recruiters can create and work on job submission lists without leaving Bullhorn.
Have these ready: Bullhorn admin access, and the Bullhorn user types that should see the tab.
Bullhorn needs to be connected to Candidately first.
Step 1: Copy the address
In Candidately, go to Settings > Integrations > Bullhorn.
Find the row Custom tab on jobs and copy the address.
The address belongs to your account. Copy it from your own settings, don't retype it or reuse one from another company.
The same settings page has Custom tab on companies, Custom tab on contacts and Custom tab on candidates. Add those the same way if you want the tab on those records too.
Step 2: Add the custom tab in Bullhorn
In Bullhorn, open the Menu at the top left, then Admin > View Layout.
Set Field Map Entity to Job.
Click the Custom Tabs tab, scroll to the bottom and click Add New.
Enter a Name. This is what your recruiters see on the job, for example "Client Portal" or "Candidately".
Tick Enabled.
Paste the address into URL.
Add the User Types who should see the tab, usually your admin and recruiter types.
Click Save.
Step 3: Switch the tab on
Saving in admin makes the tab available. Each recruiter still turns it on for their own view.
Open any job in Bullhorn.
Click LAYOUT at the right end of the tab row.
In the TABS panel, tick the new tab.
What happens next
The tab shows on every job. It opens the Candidately list page inside Bullhorn:
If the job has no list yet, you see Create new Job Submission List. See Create a list from a Bullhorn job and import candidates automatically.
If a list is already connected to the job, you see that list and can work on it as in Candidately.
Good to know
You name the tab yourself, so it may be called something else in your Bullhorn. In our examples it's "Client Portal".
In Settings > Integrations > Bullhorn you can also set the message people see on the tab when they aren't logged in to Candidately.
Settings > Integrations > Bullhorn also has addresses for a tab on companies and a tab on contacts. Add them the same way. The company tab shows the company's contacts in Candidately, with Add new contact, and the lists shared with the company. The contact tab shows the contact's details and the lists shared with them.
Troubleshooting
The tab doesn't show on jobs. Check the tab is Enabled and given to your user type, then tick it under LAYOUT > TABS on a job. Logging out of Bullhorn and back in can help.
