Who can do this: Owners and Admins.
Before you start: Add any fields of your own first. See Add custom job fields.
A job appearance decides which fields a job shows, and where. Each appearance has two parts:
Job form: the fields your team fills in when posting a job, grouped in sections.
Job detail view: what candidates see on the job page.
Edit a job appearance
Go to Settings > Jobs > Job appearance.
Click Edit.
Click Job form or Job detail view.
Pick a section.
Tick the fields for that section in the list on the left.
Drag fields to change their order.
On the Job form, each field has two switches: required, so a job can't be saved without it, and full-width.
Click Save.
You see Appearance updated successfully.
Note: The list on the left only shows fields for the section you've selected. A field that seems to be missing may sit under another section.
Use a different appearance on a board
Need a board to show different fields, for example for another brand? Give it its own appearance.
On Job appearance, click Duplicate to make a second appearance, then edit it as above.
Go to Settings > Jobs > Job boards and open the board.
Under Job appearance, pick the new appearance.
Click Save changes.
Jobs on that board now use this appearance.
Good to know
A field that isn't on any appearance is internal: it's saved with the job, but candidates never see it.
Clients, contacts and assignees are never shown to candidates.
The job title must be on both the job form and the job detail view. Description, location and employment type must stay on the job form. If one is missing, saving shows a message that names it.
Select fields you add show up as filters on your public board once they're on the job detail view.
The job owner shows on the job page only when the board has Show job owner on public job pages turned on.
