Who can do this: Owners. Only Owners can change the Job Board settings in the Bullhorn integration.
Before you start: Bullhorn needs to be connected (see Connect Bullhorn to your Job Board). To fill one of your own job fields from Bullhorn, add that field first.
Job field mapping decides which Bullhorn job order field fills which job field when a job comes in from Bullhorn. It covers the standard fields and your own custom fields.
The mapping starts empty, and that's fine: imports already fill the title, description, location, category, work mode, employment type, compensation, skills (as tags), owner and assignees from the standard Bullhorn fields. The description comes from the job order's public description; if that's empty, the job stays a draft. Add a row only to use a different Bullhorn field, or to fill your own job fields.
Set up the mapping
Go to Settings > Integrations > Bullhorn.
Scroll down to Job Board settings and find Job field mapping under Jobs.
Click Add mapping.
Pick the Bullhorn field and the job field it fills. Your own job fields are in the list too.
For a select field like Category, Work mode or Employment type, click Map values. Each Bullhorn value starts on Automatic, which matches the option with the same name or a known synonym (Direct Hire → Full-time). Pick one of your options where it guesses wrong. Several Bullhorn values can share one option.
Click Save changes.
Jobs that come in from Bullhorn now fill these fields from the job order. That applies to auto-imported jobs, Search Bullhorn jobs and the Job Board tab in Bullhorn.
What fills in from Bullhorn
When you add a job from a job order, the form fills in the title, description, location, category, work mode, employment type, compensation, client, contact, owner, assignees and any fields in your Job field mapping.
Clients and contacts help your team find jobs. Candidates never see them.
Good to know
A Bullhorn value you don't map goes to your option with the same name. If there's none, Category, Work mode and Employment type keep the Bullhorn text, and your own fields stay empty.
Every mapped field is saved with the job. Your job appearances decide what candidates see.
If the job order has no address, add the location to the job by hand.
With Keep linked jobs up to date on, a change to a mapped field in Bullhorn updates the job. The next change in Bullhorn replaces edits made in Candidately, so make your edits in Bullhorn.
Candidately never creates or changes job orders in Bullhorn.
Your XML job feed can also send Bullhorn job order fields. That's set on the board's Job feed tab.
