Which candidates does Candidate Search AI search?
Candidate Search AI searches every candidate in your Candidately account who has a profile, whatever the source:
Candidates synced from Bullhorn, if Bullhorn is connected
Resumes you upload into Candidately
Candidates you import
Bullhorn is the ATS Candidate Search AI connects to. If you use another ATS, Candidate Search AI searches the candidates you upload or import into Candidately, not your ATS database. To ask about another ATS, send us a message in the chat. See Does Candidate Search AI work with my ATS?

If Bullhorn is connected, your admin chooses which Bullhorn candidate fields you can use as Bullhorn filters, for example a certification or clearance custom field. Bullhorn filters narrow your results. See Candidate search settings.
Are candidates open to relocation included?
Yes, when you filter by location, Candidate Search AI always includes candidates who are open to relocating to that place.
What doesn't Candidate Search AI search?
Other agencies' candidates.
External job boards, like CV-Library.
Candidates deleted in Candidately. They're removed from search.
What happens to candidates deleted in Bullhorn?
That depends on your company's Bullhorn setting When a candidate is deleted in Bullhorn, in Settings → Integrations → Bullhorn:
Also delete in Candidately: the candidate is deleted in Candidately too and no longer appears in Candidate Search AI.
Keep in Candidately: the candidate stays in Candidately and can still appear in Candidate Search AI results.

When do new candidates show up in Candidate Search AI?
From Bullhorn: new and edited candidates are picked up automatically. See Initial sync and Live Sync explained.
Uploads and imports: a candidate becomes searchable once their profile is created and their resume is processed. Candidates without a resume are searchable right away.
How do I find one specific person?
Switch the toggle at the top of the Candidates page to All candidates and search by name or email.

Pro tip: Candidates disappear after you add a Bullhorn filter? Bullhorn filters only return candidates connected to Bullhorn, so resumes uploaded straight into Candidately drop out.
