If you use Bullhorn, Candidately keeps a copy of your Bullhorn candidates up to date so Candidate Search AI can search them.
Candidately copies resumes, skills, locations, job history and the Bullhorn fields you use as filters. Bullhorn is one source. Resumes you upload and candidates you import into Candidately are searchable too, once their profile is created and their resume is processed.
For Bullhorn, Candidately uses two processes:
Initial Sync imports your existing Bullhorn candidates.
Live Sync keeps them up to date as profiles change in Bullhorn.
What happens during Initial Sync?
Initial Sync is the one-time import that brings your candidates from Bullhorn into Candidately, so Candidate Search AI has a complete starting point.
Importing your Bullhorn profiles. Candidately fetches candidate records, resumes and mapped fields from Bullhorn.
Preparing the profiles. Candidately processes each resume into a structured, searchable profile.
Making them searchable. Each candidate becomes searchable in Candidate Search AI once their resume is processed. Candidates without a resume are searchable right away.
How long Initial Sync takes depends on how many candidates and resumes you have.
How does Live Sync work?
After Initial Sync, Live Sync keeps your Candidate Search AI data current.
Picking up changes. New candidates and changes your team makes in Bullhorn are picked up automatically.
Updating the record. Each changed candidate is processed again, so Candidate Search AI shows the latest information.
Handling deletions. What happens to a candidate deleted in Bullhorn depends on the setting When a candidate is deleted in Bullhorn. The next section explains the setting.
Which Bullhorn sync settings control this?
An admin sets these in Settings → Integrations → Bullhorn:

The deletion setting
Choose whether a candidate deleted in Bullhorn is also deleted in Candidately.
How do I check a candidate has synced?
On the Candidates page, switch the toggle to All candidates and search the candidate's name or email. If the candidate is there and their profile shows skills and history, Candidate Search AI can find them.
Good to know
Candidates deleted in Candidately are removed from search.
