Who it's for: Owners and Admins can change appearances and fields. Members can check the export screen and fill in the profile.
1. The field isn't on the Candidate profile tab
Each appearance has two layouts. The Candidate profile tab decides what shows on the resume. The Candidate form tab decides what you can fill in when you edit. A field needs to be on both. A new custom field isn't on either tab until you add it.
Click your name at the bottom left, then Settings > Candidate appearance.
Click Edit on the appearance you export with.
On the Candidate profile tab, check the field is in a section. If not, click the section and tick the field in the list on the left.
Do the same on the Candidate form tab, then click Save.
2. It's hidden on the export screen
Control candidate data on the export screen can hide the original resume, summary, phone, email, location, employer names, work location, job descriptions, schools and certificate issuers.
Open the export screen and check the toggles before you download.
The same toggles are under Preview style on the profile page.
To change the default for every export, edit the Candidate data control tab of the appearance.
3. You exported with another appearance
Check Select candidate appearance on the export screen. A field only shows if it's in the appearance you pick.
4. The field is empty, or 0
The field has no value on this profile. Click Edit, fill it in, and click Update profile.
Rate fields that are empty or 0 don't show on the PDF. Enter the rate to show it.
5. The field is set to Internal
In Settings > Field management, hover the field's row and click Edit. Check Field visibility. Internal fields are only displayed internally. Set it to Public for fields that belong on the resume, then click Update field.
