Who it's for: Everyone in your company. All users see the same candidates.
Find a candidate
Click Candidates in the left menu, then the All candidates tab.
Type a name or email in the search box at the bottom of the page ("Search candidates by name or email…").
Click the candidate's name to open the candidate.
The count at the top right shows how many candidates you have. New candidates appear at the top of the list.
Candidates and profiles
A candidate is the person. A profile is one version of their resume. One candidate can have several profiles, for example one for each type of role you put them forward for.
When you open a candidate, the Profiles tab lists their profiles with Profile name, Created by, Last edited and Date created. The primary profile has a filled star next to its name.
Manage profiles
Hover over a profile row to see its actions:
Action | What it does |
Open | Shows the profile and the original resume side by side |
Edit | Opens the editor |
Duplicate | Makes a copy named "Copy: …" |
Delete | Deletes the profile, after you confirm |
To make another profile the primary one, open it and click the star next to its name (Set as primary profile).
To add a profile, click Add profile, then Create new profile by uploading file or Create new profile manually.
Manage the candidate
Edit name next to the candidate's name changes it. On a profile page, Edit name renames the profile instead. See Add, duplicate or delete a profile.
More at the top right has Edit candidate and Delete candidate.
Add a new candidate
Click Add candidate at the top right of All candidates:
Create candidate and profile by uploading: upload a resume and Candidately fills in the profile.
Create candidate manually: enter the name and email yourself, then add a profile.
Using Bullhorn? Once it's connected, the menu also has Create candidate and profile from Bullhorn. See Import a candidate from Bullhorn.
Common questions
Where do I find a resume I edited or exported before?
Search for the candidate under All candidates and open them. Each version you made is a profile on the Profiles tab.
Why is the AI Search tab locked?
AI Search is part of Candidate Search AI. On a Resume Builder plan it shows a panel about the product, with Get early access. Use All candidates to search by name or email.
