Who can do this: Members. Owners and Admins can already open every list in the company.

If you're a Member and a colleague's list is connected to a Bullhorn job, you can ask for access from the job in Bullhorn. The list owner gets an email and can approve it with one click.

Ask for access

  1. In Bullhorn, open the job and click the CLIENT PORTAL tab.

  2. You see "You need permission to access this list" with the list name, its status, the number of candidates and the list owner (and assignees, if there are any).

  3. Optional: type a note under Request access (optional).

  4. Click Request access. You see "List access request sent".

Approve a request

The list owner gets an email called "<first name> requested access to the list <list name>", with the note if there is one. Click Approve Request in the email. The colleague gets access right away, and you see "<name> assigned to list".

What happens next

The colleague who asked gets an email "List access approved: <list name>" saying they're now assigned to the list. They're on the list from then on and get its notifications.

Good to know

  • Opening a link to a colleague's list in Candidately doesn't show this screen: the page keeps loading. Use the job in Bullhorn, or ask the list owner to add you under Assignees.

  • Owners and Admins never need to ask: they see all lists. If you need this often, ask an Owner or Admin to add you under Assignees.

  • Members also see every list owned by someone in their team, without asking.
