Create, publish, and manage a job

Create a job, publish it, and pause, close, archive or refresh it.

Written by Gustavo Teran

Jobs start as a draft and only appear on your public board once you publish them.

Create a job

  1. On the Job Board page, click Create job → Create manually.

  2. Enter the Job title.

  3. Under Placement, choose the Board.

  4. Fill in the rest: category, description, client and contact, location and work mode, employment type and shift pattern, compensation, tags, and job owner and assignees. The fields you see depend on your Job appearance settings.

  5. Optional: under Options → Application form, pick a different form for this job only.

  6. Click Save changes. The job is saved as a Draft.

To import a job from Bullhorn instead, see Post and import jobs from Bullhorn.

Publish

  1. Open the job and click Publish.

  2. Confirm. The job goes live on the board straight away.

If you see "Please complete the required fields before publishing", click Edit, fill in the named field, save, and publish again. Employment type is needed to publish, even though the form marks it as optional.
