Application forms are reusable. You build a form once, then use it on one or more boards or on single jobs. Go to Settings → Jobs → Application forms.
Which form is used
If a job has its own form (set in the job under Options → Application form), that form is used.
Otherwise, the board's form is used (Application form in the board settings).
Otherwise, the company default form is used (marked Default in the list).
Each form shows Used by with the boards and jobs that use it.
Create or edit a form
Click New preset, or select a form in the list.
Your details: CV upload, first name, last name, and email are always there and required. You can add more questions here with Add question.
Additional questions: click Add question to pick from your question library, and turn Required on or off for each one.
Click Save changes.
Set as default makes this the company default form.
Delete preset removes a form.
The question library
Open it with Question library at the bottom of the list or on any form.
Click New question, enter the Question label, and pick an Answer type: Short answer, Long answer, Dropdown, Multiple choice, Checkbox, Date or Number.
Editing a question changes it everywhere it's used.
A question can only be deleted once no form uses it.
Bullhorn field mapping
If you use Bullhorn, each form has a Bullhorn field mapping section. It decides which Bullhorn candidate or submission field each answer goes to when an applicant is sent to Bullhorn.
First name, last name and email are mapped by default. Email is used to find existing candidates in Bullhorn and is never overwritten.
Current employer, job title and address from the CV are mapped by default, as is the category from the Bullhorn job.
Each row shows what happens for candidates who already exist in Bullhorn: Written once, when the candidate is created, Always overwrites, or Adds to existing.
Click Add new field to map a screening question or job field. Only fields of a similar type can be mapped.
The CV file, plus the job title and summary read from it, are always sent.
The company-wide limit for existing candidates is set under Settings → Integrations → Bullhorn (link: Change). A form can be more careful than that limit, never less. See Send applicants to Bullhorn automatically.
