A Job Board is the container for your live jobs — its domain, branding, and default settings. Most companies only need one, but you can create additional boards for different brands, clients, or regions.
Create a board
Go to Job boards. Click New job board, or select an existing board from the list to edit it.
Set the basics
Fill in:
Name — internal label for the board
Slug — used in the board's URL
Domain — the default is jobs.candidate.ly; connect a custom domain (verified in Company settings first — one board per domain)
Application form — "Use company default" or assign a specific preset; individual jobs can still override this
Locale, legal, and SEO
Default locale and Supported locales — set these if you're running a multi-language board
Privacy policy URL and Terms of use URL — leave empty to use your company-wide defaults, or set board-specific links
Board page title/description and Job page title/description — customize how the board and its jobs appear in search results, using merge tags like {board_name} and {job_title}
Search engine indexing — choose whether the board and its job pages should be visible to search engines, or hidden
Job distribution and other settings
Publish an XML feed for job distribution — turn this on so platforms like Recruitics can pick up your published jobs as ads automatically; pausing or closing a job removes it from the feed
Candidate emails — set a sender name and reply-to address for emails candidates receive from this board; send a test email to check how it looks
Job description footer — rich text shown below every job description on this board; changes apply to all jobs on the board at once
Show job owner on public job pages — toggle whether the recruiter's name appears on job pages
Once your board is set up, continue to Customize your board's theme to add your branding.
