Want to customize candidate information on your formatted resumes to better meet your clients' needs? Custom Fields allow you to tailor your formatted resumes to fit specific requirements. This guide will walk you through managing both default and custom fields with ease.

Creating a Custom Field

Navigate to Settings and select Field Management in the Candidate Settings configuration section. Click "Add new field"

A pop-up menu will appear, allowing you to input the Field Title and Description, add an Icon, and preview the new field.

After clicking Next you will be able to select the field type from the following options:

  • Text Single Line

  • Long text

  • URL

  • Number

  • Date

  • Checkbox

  • Single Select

  • Multiple Select

  • File Upload

  • Rate

Choose whether the field will be Public or Internal:

- Public: visible in the CV upon export.

- Internal: Confidential, only visible to your team. It is ideal if it is sensitive information you intend to exclude from the exports.

Finally, click the "Create" button at the bottom of the screen.

Now, the new field is accessible within the Candidate Appearance settings and can be added to your templates.

Editing Custom Fields

Click "Edit" next to a custom field to access a menu for modifications, as illustrated below:

Within this menu, you can adjust the following:

  • Field Title

  • Internal Description

  • Field Icon

  • Field Restriction

  • Field Visibility

This menu also includes the option to "Archive" custom fields, removing visibility during candidate profile editing or uploading and excluding it from the Candidate Appearance settings.

Editing Default Fields

Default fields, too, can be modified to some extent. Click "Edit" on any default field to access a menu to change the Field Title.
