Simplify client collaboration with our intuitive Client Portal. Using a magic link, clients can:

  • Review candidate submissions in one centralized location

  • Provide feedback directly on the platform

  • Collaborate seamlessly with recruiters to make faster hiring decisions

Follow the steps below to get started. We recommend testing the first workflow with your personal email.


1. Create your first list

Create a list

Click the "Create new list" button on the left bottom corner or in the center of the screen.

Fill out the List Creation Form

Enter a list name, select the branding and candidate appearance, and choose a list owner and assignees.


2. Add your first candidate

Click on the top right corner button and choose your preferred option. You can add a candidate by uploading or dragging and dropping their CV, importing it from Bullhorn, your candidate database, or even create a candidate manually without a CV.

Resume Parsing

Our proprietary AI parser automatically extracts key details from the candidate's resume, including the professional summary, skills, experience, education, certifications, languages, contact info, and more. Parsing progress appears in the bottom right corner.

Please note that only PDF and DOCX documents are supported for uploads. Images such as JPG or PNG will not be parsed.

3. Review & Activate your first candidate

Click on the green Review & Activate button to open your candidate profile.

The candidate profile is on the right, and the editing form is on the left. Candidately has worked its magic and extracted a lot of information from the resume and you can now leverage our Ask AI feature in any text field to enhance content effortlessly. Any updates will be instantly reflected in the live preview on the left side. Scroll down on the right side to review and edit the details and once done, click on the green bottom right button to set your candidate active.

AI-powered Recruiter note

Our AI-powered Recruiter Notes use ChatGPT to summarize the candidate's experience from their resume, highlighting relevant skills and qualifications. Generate up to ten unique drafts, select your favorite, and customize it as needed with our predefined prompts, or draft your own custom prompt just as you would in ChatGPT.

Ask AI

The "Ask AI" feature integrates ChatGPT directly into your candidate profile. Choose from predefined prompts like "Make shorter," "Make longer," or "Make friendlier," or draft custom prompts just as you would in ChatGPT.


4. Share your first list with your personal email

Share your list

Click the Share your list button on the top right corner. Next, add your personal email and click "Add as new contact" to create it.

Fill in the details on the contact form to create the new contact and company.

Customize your message

A full preview of the message will pop up so you can customize it as needed. Once done, click on the Preview button.

Preview your email

Before sending your email, preview it and, once ready, hit the Send button.


5. Review the client experience

Upon sharing the list, you'll find the invite in your inbox. Click the button to go to the list and start reviewing candidates just as your clients will:

When accessing the list you'll find all the candidates added and you'll be able to click on each of them to review their details. Then you can click the corresponding button to either request an interview or decline the candidate:


6. Check the real-time insights

After reviewing the client experience and writing some test feedback, or simply checking the candidates, you can go to the activity tab as shown below. There, you'll find details regarding your client's activity like List views, Candidate views, and actions taken for each candidate.

You'll also receive email notifications for all of these actions so you always know what your clients are up to πŸ‘€.


7. Invite your team

Go to User Settings to invite your team and start collaborating.

Click the "Invite User" button on the top right corner to invite your team.

Users can be assigned roles as an Owner, Admin, or Member.

8. Customize your Candidately account
